Tamarind Juice Concentrate/ Paste

Tamarind is a pod shaped Indian date, brown in colour and is the richest natural source of tartaric acid. Its acidity is similar to lemon juice, critical in Thai, Indian and Middle Eastern cuisines. Tamarinds are naturally rich in magnesium iron and B vitamins. Our tamarind Juice concentrate can be used to acidulate foods or with cereal flours. This concentrate is much easier to use than standard blocks and has optimum amount of acidity and its typical Indian tamarind pungency. In order to obtain juice from concentrate you can add two parts of water to one part concentrate.
